Mrs. Annie B. Hinton, age 100, died last Saturday. Funeral services will be held Saturday, (November 15) 11am at Bethlehem Baptist Church with The Rev. Wayne Hines officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Gethesame in Rocky Mount, NC.Walk-In visitation will be held Friday 2-6pm at Baker Funeral Home, Tarboro, NC.
Mrs. Hintion was a loving wife, mother and faithful Christian lady. She always greeted others with a smile and her loving spirit was evident to anyone she met. She is survived by 10 children: Mary F. Dancy, George Hinton Jr., Mamie L. Vick, Burnadine Bellamy, Margaret A. Hill, James E. Hinton Sr., Lester L. Hinton, Joyce M. Tillery of the home: Joe H. Hinton and Lenora Pleasant of Washington, DC, one sister Mary Groom also of Washington, DC, 35 Grand Children, 65 Great-Grand Children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Mr. Moses McCray age, 74, died Friday July 4th at Nash General Hospital. A Graveside service will be held on Friday June 11 at Carver Park Cemetery in Pinetops at 2 PM. A walk-in visitation will be Thursday from 5-7pm at Baker Funeral Home, Tarboro, NC.
Mr. McCray is survived by his wife of 49 years Mozella McCray; 10 children-Wayne Rogers of Virginia Beach, VA, Moses McCray of Ducan, SC, Monica Harris of Princeville, NC, Maurice McCray of Raleigh, NC, Morris MCCray of Pinetops, NC, Maria Cofield of Greenville, NC, Marcus McCray of Goldsboro, NC, Marcie McCray, Margo Pitt, Myron McCray all of Pinetops, NC; 9 siblings Mae Ruth Bobo of Connecticut, Issac Wilkes or Maryland, Marvin Wilkes of Bethel, NC, Cora wright of Greenville, NC, Sally Arnold of Tarboro, NC, Carolyn Stovall of Fayetteville, NC, Maggie Rae Batts of Bloomingdale, Illinois, Patricia Wilkes of Durham, NC, and Sharon Wilkes of Raleigh, NC; 31 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. James Ivory Ruffin, age 69, died Saturday. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 21, 2014 2pm at Pittman Grove Baptist Church. A wak-in visitation will be Friday 2-8pm at Baker Funeral Home.
James is survived by three sons Roosevelt Ricks of Rocky Mount, NC, Cleveland Ricks of Greenville, NC and Antwan Staton of Virginia; one daughter Eula DeDowning of Tarboro, NC; four brothers Willie Lee Ruffin of Baltimore, MD, Robert Lee Ruffin, Curtis Ruffin and Johnnie Ray Ruffin all of Tarboro, NC; five sisters Callie Ruffin of Baltimore MD, Margaret R. Williams, Armissa Ruffin, Lesterine R. Knight and Geraldine Knight all of Tarboro, NC; three aunts Margaret Johnson Ruffin of Tarboro, NC, Ernestine Ruffin of Baltimore, MD and Lucy Ruffin of Newark, NJ; eight grandhildren and nine great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends.
